VARIVENT ® Mixproof Valves

RSS Send link Print

The Mixproof Valve has mixture-safe separation of hostile products at the pipeline crossroads.
When the valve is in the closed condition (non-actuated position) there are always two seals found between the two pipelines. If a seal is faulty then the leakage can come out of the leakage outlet provided without the products mixing in the two pipelines. The leakage room can be cleaned through the cleaning connection on the valve or when the single valve disk lifts (valve with lift actuator).

VARIVENT® Mixproof Shuttle Valve

The Mixproof Shuttle Valve distributes a product from one pipeline to two where the separation between the middle and top pipelines is mixture-safe. In the closed condition (non-actuated position) two seals can always be found between the locked pipelines (middle to top housing); in each of the separate valve disks there is a seal to the product area. If the seal is faulty then the leakage can come out of the provided leakage outlet without the products mixing in the two pipelines. One seal is used to lock the middle and bottom housing.
The VARIVENT® double seat shuttle valve has the licence of the Institute for the Dairy Industry in Kiel.
