As a fine symbol of the optimism of the new Poland, the company Mokate has
built two new plants with high-tech spray drying technology from the Danish
firm Niro A/S.
At first Mokate started to bulk-import coffee whitener and
cappuccino powders from the Netherlands for packing and redistribution in
Poland. Now especially cappuccino has become so popular in the Polish market,
so much actually that Poland now has the second highest per capita consumption
in the world.
The Niro plants has made Mokate market leading in Poland and
stepped up exports to a number of countries. The new installation in Ustrón
includes wet mixing equipment, mixing tanks, pasteurizers/coolers,
homogenisers, storage tanks as well as a complete spray drying plant.
