Different types of VARITOP® TTB switch modules are available for the Tank
Safety System VARITOP®:
VARITOP® TTB switch module 11 / 12
- Automatic CIP / Gas changeover, without power supply
- The switching module keeps the path open for aeration and degassing. The
path to the cleaning devices is always open.
- When the cleaning supply goes to the rotating jet cleaner the switching
module switches over automatically from 8 m3/h.
- When the cleaning supply goes to the cleaning lance the switching module
switches over automatically from 15 m3/h.
- The path for aeration and degassing is then closed.
- The gas capacity is dependent on the pressure and is maximally 92 m3/h CO2
with an operating pressure of 2 bar ü. This can be converted to other process
parameters.
- The switching module is also self-cleaning.
VARITOP® TTB switch module 21 / 22
- Pneumatic CIP / Gas changeover using an ECOVENT® shuttle valve type W_S
with power supply
- The switching module keeps the path open for the aeration and degassing.
The path to the cleaning devices is closed.
- The switching of the paths happens pneumatically.
- Then the path to the cleaning devices is open and the aeration and
degassing paths are closed.
- The switching module is most suitable for high gas currents.
- The shuttle valve type WKS can be individually configured from the
VARIVENT® valve programme.
VARITOP® TTB switch module 31 / 32
- Gas pressure control using a VARIVENT® modulating control valve type A and
type S (upon request) with power supply.
- The switching module regulates the aeration and degassing independently
from the operation and process parameters.
- The path to the cleaning devices via the VARIVENT® butterfly valve is
closed.
- The switching of the paths happens pneumatically.
- Then the path to the cleaning devices is open and the aeration and
degassing path is closed.
- The switching module is suitable for high gas currents.
- The modulating control valve can be individually configured from the
VARIVENT® valve programme.
VARITOP TTB switch module 41 / 42
- Pneumatic CIP / Gas changeover using a butterfly valve combination with
power supply.
- The switching module keeps the path open for the aeration and degassing.
The path to the cleaning devices is closed.
- The switching of the paths happens pneumatically.
- Then the path to the cleaning devices is open and the aeration and
degassing paths are closed.
- The switching module is most suitable for high gas
currents
